Micah Challenge USA is a Christian campaign that is part of a global Micah Challenge campaign. Their aims are to deepen our engagement with impoverished and marginalized communities; and to challenge leaders to achieve the Millennium Development Goals, and so halve absolute global poverty by 2015. By the way, October 15 was "Blog Action Day," when thousands of bloggers signed on to write about poverty from the diverse perspectives of their specific blogs. Look for entries on poverty dated October 15 in all your favorite blogs!
